James Cooper was born may 16th 1661, at Stratford-On-Avon, Warwickshire, England.  He married Hester (?) Cooper about 1686, in Stratford-On-Avon. (This possibly conflicts with Hester's record which claims she was born and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). James died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on  December 4, 1732.
